The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The location is excellent for the centre of town and the castle, with convenient parking across the road at the NCP. Rooms were a decent size, clean and had good facilities - nothing unexpected but everything that we needed. The bath was particularly comfortable - normally we find them a bit narrow.

Very noisy at night, music until approx 3am could be heard in our room.

We stayed in room 224 and it was facing the road, the noise from the pubs opposite was really loud. There was no air conditioning in the room.
