Perfect hotel to visit an amazing place
Posted 29 Sep 2023 on HotelsClean hotel, nice pool, reasonably priced, very welcoming and helpful staff, 5 min walk to the medieval cité and 15 min walk to the centre with shops, cafes, etc. Our room was big enough, quiet and even looked into the ramparts - spent a couple of days from our 7 night stay at the hotel and next time I go back, I will definitely stay here again.
If I had to make one suggestion to the hotel, it would be to put at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. The whole area may be big meat eaters, but that doesn’t mean every visitor is.
In fact, if you are veggie then you will struggle here for options generally (can recommend Le Cachotier which is probably the only restaurant in Carcassonne with a vegan menu)

Decent 3* hotel.
