It is literally yards away from the castle and the room is wonderful and quiet. The staff is very attentive and speak English

Posted 16 Dec 2023 on HotelsSuch a lovely hotel a few steps from entrance to the castle with incredible views. The staff was attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful massage and enjoyed the spa amenities. A great getaway!

Outstanding location, amenities and service. Carcassone is amazing, but it’s busy with tourists so we were VERY glad we didn’t stay in the walled city itself. This is a close as you can get and still have a quiet, refined place to crash after wandering around the amazing historic location. Taxi service is spotty at best from the train station so have the hotel reserve one to pick you up if taking the train. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location with a view of the walls of the city. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast on the terrace.

We had a great trip and loved the hotel. The pool area and bar are fantastic. The staff were great and the hotel dog is beautiful. The only thing that let it down slightly was the finishing touches in the rooms. Of the four drawers on the dressing table in our room, 3 of the handles were broken- a check on these kind of things would elevate the score. We would come back and the placement of the hotel is great and gives you such quick access to the history of Carcassonne.
