Great location and very friendly staff. Loved the recommendations for food. The rooms are a little dated though and the family cottage had 2 bedrooms but a shared bath - small detail but would have made a huge difference.

Guest house well worth staying at in Stellenbosch

Pros: The whole deal!
Cons: You are doing great !
Location: It is quiet but just five minutes walk to nearest restaurant and to center of city.
Steak at FAT BUTCHER was good but staff quite snotty!
I liked the old world charm of the hotel. The rooms had Victorian vibe and was a joy to enter.
My corner room on the 2nd floor had mountain views - really loved it.
Breakfast had options of cooked eggs - enjoyed my poached eggs . The dining room
staff were cheerful and friendly - this made a good start to my mornings.
Location was accessible to city area for food and galleries. Check out GINO's restaurant for good pizza and pasta plus cheap wines. Really liked this joint!

A good choice and reasonable price
