The hotel is very dirty and old. The room felt like a jail cell or hospital room. Luckily I was only there for one night. It was so bad, my partner and I didn’t even use the shower or anything. We left as soon as we woke up.

Dear Martia, this is an unfortunate review to read and we are sorry that you left disappointed. Our standard rooms average 26sq.meters in size, with the room you received being slightly over that average. Our Deluxe rooms offer more space and luxury at an average of 35 sq.meters.

Great property but nothing to do around that area. We were advised on multiple occasions by Taxi /Uber drivers not to walk around that area because it VERY unsafe

The area is as safe as any other Cape Town suburb. We recommend caution after hours, which is unfortunately a realistic view of safety in South Africa.

The night staff, mostly manager very rude and unhelpful. I would never stay there again.

Disappointingly Dirty, StainedCarpets for a Hilton

This was my second stay at the Hilton. While the hotel room is great and staff very friendly, the are where the hotel is located is not great. I feel safe and comfortable driving there alone during the day but not so much at night. On this stay my room was prepared to my standards as allergy free and very neat, clean and comfortable. The combo door where the safe was could not be easily opened and closed. What I was very disappointed about was that on the 2nd floor where I was, the corridor carpets were absolutely filthy, stained and unhygienic. It needed a thorough spring cleaning! This level of filth is not in keeping with Hilton hotels as I have stayed in many across the world.
