Beautiful property with a beautiful view in the honeymoon suite with infinity pool. I would definitely stay again if I come back to Cape Town.

Where do I begin? Jen is an absolute delight! From the moment we booked, she was in communication with us. Upon arrival Jen gave us tour of her beautiful property. She provided us with a map, local things to do, and restaurants to try. All her recommendations were spot on! She was a great resource throughout our stay! The room was clean, spacious and provided us with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The actual location of the property is farther away from the center of the city. Although we rented a car and wanted a location farther out from the city, I think it’s important to mention that if you are interested in visiting the V&A waterfront, the botanical gardens, Table Mountain, etc. you will need a rental car for traveling. Jen’s location is super safe. We parked in a gated driveway, accessible through a remote push. The surrounding area is also beautiful and my husband and I never felt unsafe! On the day we left, our flight was departing at 11pm at night. Jen allowed us to stay in the room until we were ready to leave. I remember reading reviews when I was looking for a place to stay for our honeymoon in South Africa and someone mentioned to just book African Violet Suites, that you wouldn’t be disappointed. I am here to say, they were absolutely right! JUST BOOK IT!

Beautiful and Calming
Posted 12 May 2019 on HotelsI had to go to Johannesburg for school, so then I took a road trip to Cape Town. I chose African Violet because of the great reviews and because it's location was pretty central to everything I wanted to do in the area. The room was beautiful and Jenny the host was very friendly and accommodating. They provided a map and she pointed out places that were recommended. The view was incredible. I'll definitely see if they have a room available the next time I'm in town.

What a superb place. Stunning views, awesome location and beautiful little pool. Jennifer was super friendly and gave us the best advice on the local area. If you are thinking of booking - do it! You won’t be disappointed!
