Fabulous pool

Great room and friendly staff. Hard to find the hotel by the address. Great breakfast and hotel site.

This place was a real surprise for us, we did not expected. Amazing country style hotel, with amazing people! So clean and comfortable room and breakfast was great! Highly recomended!

Peaceful retreat
Posted 15 May 2017 on HotelsThis was a fair distance from Lucca but easy to find with GPS. Staff was very accommodating, and the newness of the facility was a surprise. All very modern and deluxe, so not a rustic agritourisimo, if that's what you want. Serene setting and great value for the money. I'd definitely stay again.

Lovely B&B/Hotel in Tuscany

Cons: The road leading up to the hotel was bumpy.
There was also some construction going on but think it will be completed soon which will make it better!
We recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Tuscany and stayed at Corte Bennedetto for 6 nights. It is perfectly situated for easy access to many other towns and cities (eg. Pisa and Lucca) and reasonably close to the water as well.
The room/facilities were modern and clean, beds were comfortable, daily service, nice breakfast and laundry available as well. The pool was beautiful amid a gorgeous and peaceful Tuscan setting.
The staff was very helpful with restaurant and wine tasting recommendations and assisted with maps and other information.
We didn't ride the horses but I understand there are stables on the property as well.
Overall, we would rate this hotel very highly. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Good Agriturismo near to Lucca and the wine region

Pros: Very clean property and rooms with an outstanding pool area with a clever salt water system that works very well. Good location.
Cons: Get the restaurant open and make use of the bar which is lovely but never open!
Location: In the Tuscan Hills close to Lucca, a lovely walled town with lots of restaurants and great sights and nice shops ( if you like shoes in particular).
Overall the Corte Benedetto is a lovely Agriturismo with its standout feature being a fantastic and large pool, which is perfect for families and is surrounded by lovely Tuscan countryside views. Our stay would have been rated excellent, however it was let down by the lack of any restaurant despite both the Expedia and Agriturismos own site advertising the property as having one. With a young family to consider we had specifically booked the property because it advertised a restaurant, not because we wanted to use it every day but because as any parent of young children know there are days when staying at the property using the pool and restaurant are the best option. The staff did offer pizza during the day (though not between 1pm and 3pm!) as long as it was Margherita which was bought in rather than home made. In short if the Agriturismo did offer the restaurant and bar facilities it advertises (and actually has sitting there dormant) it would be excellent.
