Great place to stop close to the ports and Eurotunnel. Comfy beds, big enough room. Excellent breakfast, friendly team. Would also make a good base for Canterbury and the area around.

Parking difficult. No elevator, though our bags were carried to our room.Ice not available in bar.
Good breakfast. Lovely gardens. Manageable Walk 20 minutes to city center.
No restaurants within easy walking distance.
A dated hotel with no air conditioning

A nice hotel, perfect walking distance from the town, friendly staff and comfy. It is a little dated and in need of some tlc in places. The radiator in our room made a clicking/dripping noise throughout the night which was also a little annoying. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant and the availability of a car park was great. Would definitely return, perhaps not in that room.

The receptionists was so helpful. The female cook excellent. Would recommend to everyone and would go back again. 10 out 10. Keep it up.
