Dismal

Dismal!! The pictures from the website looked great, unfortunately, the reality was far from perfect. In reception, the render on the ceiling was falling off which raised alarm bells. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there, here comes the list: 1, Bed sheets had holes in them, they looked warn or chewed. 2, The skirtings had come off the walls 3, Paint was peeling from the balcony and pool area 4, The bar was not available no reason was given 5, My safe gave a suspicious error code and would not open 6, Carpets were stained and dirty 7, The walls in the corridors had holes in them like they had been rammed or punched 8, All lights were off during the day, and we had to use my phone light to navigate the corridors. 9, Not as important but there was what looked like a bottle of wee outside my balcony on the grass verge, it looked like it had been thrown out of a window. The worst thing was you did not feel like you could bring these issues up with the staff as when we tried to ask some questions they laughed and shrugged a lot! Yea…. Please do not stay here!!

Not a 4* hotel

Pros: staff is helpful. Cons: Hotel: The hotel is very old and not well maintained, both on the outside as well as the inside. Not sure how often they vacuum / clean the carpets, but in the six days we stayed there, they weren’t cleaned. The toilets are old, toilet bowl stained. No shampoo / conditioner. If you need an iron you have to go to a different floor to the ironing area to iron. All very inconvenient.

Fabuleuse expérience!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet hotel. La chambre était spacieuse pour notre petite famille de 4 (2 adultes, 2 enfants). La vue était parfaite sur la colline. Le service plus que parfait! Rien à ajouter! Merci à la gentille et jolie réceptionniste qui nous a préparé et servis les délicieuses pizzas. Tellement sympathique de venir à nous et faire un service de chambre. Les femmes de chambre étaient très souriantes et polies. Nous avions le plaisir de retrouver notre chambre propre le soir en rentrant. La piscine était propre et belle. Les enfants ont eu un plaisir fou à s’amuser. Nous reviendrons sûrement et certainement séjourner à l’Hôtel Cannes Montfleury.

When I was checked in I got key to the room where somebody was alredy living... bad experience excused by "computer said it is free"... Hotel is dirty, very limited breakfast, no restaurant... almost 2km walk to city center...

Apparently this hotel got 4 stars ... Maybe in 70s, I don't think anyone is cleaning the rooms, only beddings was clean, tons of dust everywhere,dirty windows(dirty like no one clean them for years, disgusting bathroom,dirty curtains, cigarette buds on the balcony etc overall whole reception ,lifts and dining area looks like never cleaned. I was traveling for work I didn't made big deal but if I will travel with my family definitely I will not stay there. Any Travelodge is two stars above of this place.

We have stayed numerous times at this hotel since 2011 and have to say that in all that time, absolutely no refurbishment has taken place and it’s now long overdue. Whilst it’s clean enough on the surface, the carpets are dreadful, the bathrooms are very tired with black on the grouting and the decor is very outdated. The pool is pleasant enough though abd lovely. Parking has always been free, but we were charged 15E until we pointed out that on Expedia it’s 10E and that this is a new charge, last year it was free. Not sure we’ll come back until a refurb has been done. They also need to stop people blatantly robbing from the breakfast buffet!
