We had a wonderful stay in the Parador. The staff were excellent - they provided us with very good advice on local cycle rides and had a number of maps and trail guides to follow. The restaurant is also excellent - we chose from the set menus and found all of the food to be high quality in a lovely atmosphere. We would stay again without hesitation.

Beautiful hotel away from the town
Posted 7 May 2023 on HotelsThe hotel has a high standard of offerings. The facilities and amenities are sufficient for my stay. And it is a special experience to stay in a castle with history and you will have the chance to spend some time in the hotel walking around and enjoying the ambience.
The location is around 10 mins drive away from the main town. You may not be able to drink a lot before heading back obviously. The only one thing I have to criticize is the front desk staff. Apparently it was a busy time during my stay there and the staff seems not to be very patient when I check in.

Brilliant location, great rooms in the new part. Comfortable beds. Very helpful receptionist full of recommendations, good English. The quadrangle attached to the cheese bar. The breakfast choices were amazing, perhaps over the top. Unfortunately the breakfast coffee was not good luckily they provided two nespresso type machines.
