Nice and friendly.
Posted 1 Nov 2019 on HotelsVery helpful and friendly reception staff. We immediately felt welcome. Nice and quiet hotel. Food at the hotel restaurant was average. Found an old piece of underwear in the room - cleanliness could be improved. Safe was in the room, but not attached: Safe to go?!

Positives: quiet, clean, pleasany staff, parking, restaurant and wifi. Negatives: less than totally comfortable bed, no in room coffee, no complimentary tissue, towel drier non-functioning.

Clean room
Posted 1 Aug 2018 on HotelsClean room. The WiFi connection worked so we could use Skype. Parking was available for free just in front of the entrance. Climatisation was fine. The restaurant was excellent. We used it for lunch and breakfast. Great people.

Convenient base for exploring Catalan Pyrenees
Posted 20 Sep 2016 on HotelsThis hotel's location and gracious staff made our first visit to the Pyrenees quite easy. Comfortable room and great breakfast buffets fortified us for mountain walks, exploring villages, and wandering through Romanesque monasteries. Our visit coincided with the towns fall festival; staff were helpful in making sure we saw local folk dances with the townsfolk. Would strongly recommend this hotel for a base in exploring the Catalan Pyrenees.

A Gem in the Pyrenees
Posted 22 Jul 2015 on HotelsThis small boutique hotel is a warm comfort after a hike in the beautiful mountains of Spain. We were warmly welcomed by the manager and made to feel very at home (as if we were visiting family) as she gave us a tour of the hotel and room. She ensure to know our names and use them when we encountered her in the morning. At dinner she took extra care to socialize with every guest dining in the restaurant as if she were hosting a private party.
The only hiccups would be that the a/c was not very effective, but opening the windows to the mountain air was a beautiful plus. There isn't much in the area and as such the restaurant has become quite popular. As long as you are not in a rush, the service was great.

Great little hotel

The staff was exceptionally helpful, making parking space for us, helping with travel plans and routes, etc. The room was modern and clean and efficient, with a comfortable bed. We were tired and didn't feel like going out to eat; what a pleasant surprise when we sat down to dinner of delicious fresh grilled prawns and grilled chicken!
