This is a one of a kind outstanding boutique hotel. The building and grounds are impeccable and first class. Service was friendly and discreet. You are surrounded by trees and a river runs around over half the property. The library with wood burning fire place is ideal for a before or after dinner drink. If you ever find yourself within 200km of this place, detour and spend a few days relaxing at this sanctuary.

Too pricy for the place and out of the way from town. Can’t do much except to stay within the premises.

Little piece of paradise

The town of Caldas de Reis doesn't have a lot to offer, but the hotel is so perfect, you truly never have to leave. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and while the queso on the pulpo toast wasn't so great, everything else was wonderful. The bed is a dream and the sheets are super luxurious. We visited in February and I woke up and enjoyed a cold plunge in the river pool- what an experience. I highly recommend this hotel!

The facilities and location were beautiful. It was a great locations for a couples getaway.
