We regret your negative review, considering what happened to you. She arrived at the hotel, she had a single room reserved and for the same price she was accommodated in a double. He went up to the room and four hours later he went down to reception commenting that he couldn't stay at the hotel because he had had a problem, so he wanted the money back. You had already used the room, so we couldn't give you a refund, which we explained to you. We returned the money for breakfast, since you did not eat it, and we worried about you, thinking that something had happened to you. Later he told us that what was happening to him was that he didn't like the room. Instead of asking us for a change to another room she liked, she tried to trick us, knowing that we could change her to another room if she didn't like the one she had. He then made us call a taxi on a rainy day, when the taxis were very busy, and the taxi driver told us that he would arrive in 15 minutes. 10 minutes later, you walked away, leaving the taxi driver's service behind and we had to apologize for you since you had to refuse other services to come pick you up and when we told you, you were already on your way here. The truth is, you left your manners at home, and you give us a rating of 1. Thank you.

I’m sure I would’ve given it a better rating if the pool was warm. I didn’t get to enjoy it, but the room was clean.

Hôtel Sena must have been a nice hotel 25 years ago but it’s run down now. The food is so limited. It’s on the outskirt of town but it has a supermarket close by.

The hotel is being renovated little by little since doing everything at once represents a great cost. In any case, they have the photos on the website so that before arriving, you can see what everything is like.Let me tell you that in our restaurant we have 2 different menus.A bar menu that contains sandwiches, portions, sandwitches, hamburgers...In addition, we have our restaurant menu with starters, seafood, meat, fish,...Every day from Monday to Friday we also prepare a daily menu to choose from 5 first courses, 3 second courses and more than 8 desserts. On weekends we also have a more elaborate daily menu with 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts.In the mornings we offer buffet breakfast for 7 in which they have unlimited scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, ham, cheese, juice, cereals...If the option is not to your liking, breakfast is also served in our cafeteria.As you can see, there are many, many different options. You don't need to go to the supermarket.The town can be visited from end to end in 15 minutes, so from our hotel you can get to the center in 5-7 minutes maximum, so you can go from here without any problem.Finally, we remind you that our reception staff is always there to help you and answer any questions. We prefer that clients ask questions rather than leave dissatisfied, since if they had asked we could have helped them by giving them another room if they didn't like theirs, showing them all our food options, or explaining how to get to town.Thank you very much and greetings!

Pool not hot springs

It’s a simple hotel room. I booked this thinking the pool is natural hot springs coz it’s in Caldas do Reis but staff said it’s very cold water. Needed to rest tired pilgrims body. Breakfast was not good.

Clean, comfortable and quiet place. Great staff, amazing breakfast. Only concern was the picture frames not appropriate for children if advertised for family rest while doing the Santiago de Compostela Trail.
