A bit of paradise on the Camino
Posted 24 Jun 2023 on HotelsHeavenly place, we feel so lucky to have found it. Chus is the perfect host, we loved our dinner of home-grown veggies and the generous breakfast. Highly recommended for a mid-Camino treat, we would love to come back

This place is a dream. This is the perfect location to stay after many kilometers walk doing El Camino. We loved our stay. The facilities are great and the staff is so friendly. Special thanks to Chus (Maria Jesus/owner) for making our stay an unforgettable one... Looking forward to our next stay in this lovely place. I highly recommend it. You will taste real Galician service!

It is a very nice place; isolated but with many places for visiting within a short car ride.

A little bit of paradise in rural galicia
Posted 25 Jun 2017
Pros: The family I met were terrific and very attentive. They picked me up from Caldas as I was walking and there is no public transport.
Cons: In common with many casas in Spain it did not have air conditioning. However this was a minor issue.
Location: There are walks near the casal but If you are on a sightseeing holiday in the area then you would need a car.
Chose to stay here as an alternative to limited hotels in Caldas whilst walking the Camino. It's a lovely place, family run, with a restaurant and saline pool.
