Conveniently located following a long drive as it’s close to the ports and tunnel, however a very dated interior that desperately requires a refurb. A basic breakfast offering. Overall was over-priced for such a budget hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially late at night on arrival. Parking is on the main road which didn’t feel secure or safe.

Uncomplicated stay over. Plenty bars and restaurants in vicinity

It’s a basic hotel chain but all the staff I came into contact with were friendly knowledgeable (I asked for recommendations on places to eat) kind to my children and generally a really good bunch. Holiday inn have got a great team working there.

Late night around 2 am terrible sound in the hotel.not able to sleep properly.

Very good. Slight disappointment as wasn't aware parking needed to be booked, so wasn't able to park on-site, and had to park on road.

We travel around the world and stayed in tones of hotels. And I am afraid to say this is probably one of the worst 4* hotels that I have ever come across! More like a 2*! The room (206) is old, dirty and in very poor condition. We booked a non-smoking room and could smell someone had smoked in the room previously. The window could be opened fully as the latch had been broken. And we could see lots of cigarette burning marks on the window sills outside. Carpet was filthy. Furnitures were old. Skirting board was scratched and marked. Bathroom has mould and damp marks between tiles. Some tiles were broken. TV was tiny and blurry. Only one bottle of water in the room when there were two of us. Had to ask for one more at the reception. Breakfast was very average. Had to ask staff for more milk for the cereals as the container was empty and not refilled. Only positive is that the Receptionist Ella was very good.
