Has room for improvement

Hotel staff training of online booking and the coding for online booking is poor. Reached hotel past midnight and reservation was initially rejected. The facilities are poor. The area is nice but the hotel staff needs better overall. You should not expect much.

I booked a 3-night stay at this hotel during the busy carnival period. Despite booking well in advance and calling the hotel 4-5 times, (someone answered and promised to confirm my booking and call me back but never did). I turned up and was told there was no room because my booking was not confirmed despite having paid to Expedia. I was later shown a shabby room which seemed to be in use and was told to wait for it to be cleaned. Well, I went searching for another hotel and, fortunately, found a nice one. I hate to do this but I really don’t think this hotel should be on Expedia!
