Staff is nice and friendly. Responds quickly in email. Free upgrade to a room with balcony and pyramid view! Hot shower. A heater in the room for cold night in winter is a plus!

Amazing place to rest and recharge

The hotel staff at this hotel are one of a kind. I made great friends with Abraham, Tata, and Thomas. Such wonderful people. I can’t wait to come back and visit Egypt again. I’ll be staying at the place for sure :)

Right at the Pyramids

Posted 14 Feb 2018
Cons: Clean the place up and get rid of the clutter. That wont cost you much and will make a great improvement. Get faster internet.
Location: Right in front of the pyramids and not much to do nearby but see the pyramids.
The location is ideal for seeing the Pyramids, however, the place is basically a hoarders house with lots of clutter and dust everywhere in the middle of horse and camel stables. The host does well to have beer available on site at a fair price and will deliver food from nearby places. I would stay in Cairo and just travel to Giza for tours. The town is crawling with swindlers. Only use Uber in Egypt. The taxis are notoriously sleezy.

Still In Awe

Pros: The customer service of the establishments staff . If you need anything from car service , food and excursions etc. they were right there .
Cons: More traditional food on site
Location: River Nile cruises , Giza Complex , Horseback riding , Camel Riding , Memphis , Saqqara , Egyption Museum , Lightshows , Great Cafes , and Fragances
The pictures of Egypt seen in history books and many forms of media was not enough . Filling that void prompted me to take a trip to the beautiful land . My only disappointment was on my behalf . I did not have enough time to extend my adventure . But I loved every moment . I disregarded the rumors of danger and turmoil and took a chance . The hotel is situated in a authentic neighborhood whose locals encourage interaction . I learned and felt connected to the people I engaged with ... whether residents or other tourist . The facts and history lessons from guides were sufficient but left me craving more . On and off site the food was amazing esp. the " egyptian pizza " and koshari . You can read reviews all day and stare at pictures at night but there is nothing like first hand expeience .

Just one night not enough

Nice rooms and a great location for the pyramids, I would have like to have stayed longer, but alas this was a last stop before the airport. Other guests, who had been there longer, seemed very happy.

Great location, amazing staff

This is a great guesthouse very close to the pyramids. Sunsets from the rooftop deck are amazing. Thomas and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. He will help set up any excursions you might need. Highly recommend !

Grat View of Pyramids, friendly staff.

Contact the hotel to arrange a ride from the airport. Look for "Pyramids Loft" sign outside. I found the hostel descent with many different private rooms. The bathrooms are seperate but private. They also have kitchen you can use. Cheap cold beer and they can arrange any activities for you. The pyramids are within walking distance. The view from the rooftop lounge is amazing!! I reccomend a room with AC in the summer.
