The rooms need a lot of repairs. Mouldy grout in the shower. No information on the room. Staff not in the office to greet us.
Fridge was great and there was tea, coffee and equipment available.

We had a ground floor room. It was old but adequate even noisy, but we slept well.

The unit was dirty, we had to ask for a change of towels after our second night. The sheets sufficed for 3 nights and there was no dining area. This ultimately suited us as we were out for the whole three nights.

My 2nd stay with my family of three within three months. Very friendly, hospitable & convenient.

The Cairns City Motel is a good place to stay, it is clean, centrally located and not expensive.
It is close to the Aquarium, Markets and Waterfront Precinct.
The only downside is that the reception area is only staffed for limited hours and only has 6 off-street parking spaces.
I will definitely stay there again.
