Relaxing at end of tour

Down a long and winding road to an oasis!
Posted 7 Feb 2024 on HotelsDown a long winding road on the outskirts of town, you escape to a quiet oasis. The double and single duplex units are perfect for self catering holidays. It is better if you have your own transport, otherwise take a Tuktuk or taxi. The pool and lounge area is a tree lined relaxation spot. The kitchens are either outdoors on the patio or indoors in the spacious units. Bring your own shampoo but bar soap and dish soap are provided. Well equipped with cookware, an air fryer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and hot plate. Lovely owner and staff. Hot showers but need kettle to boil water for dishes.

Loud Party Spot Run By Absent Host
Posted 29 Mar 2021 on HotelsDon't do it. The pictures look as though you're staying in a serene location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road but what you get in nothing but a headache. There were 5 adults in a double occupancy room next to mine partying all day and night, blasting music as early as 8am in the morning to well after midnight. When I messaged the host Christina to complain about the noise she took over an hour to respond. All other hotels in the area had sold out so there was no other place I could go.
After I complained to Hotels.com an hour later I noticed the water in my room was shut off. When I message to complain, I was told the city shut off the water but that they fixed it.
What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned out to be a stressful nightmare. The walls are paper thin so you hear EVERYTHING. It felt like I was staying in a hostel next to a nightclub the noise was so loud. The host also refused to issue a partial refund for the serious inconveniences. You're much better off staying elsewhere.

So sorry of your bad experience in our place, but is not necessary to lie....
In the house next to you, was a young couple, ( just 2 people, as we never allow more people than the capacity of each house) is true they put loud music, at 8pm I talked with them and they take it out.... So the true is: one young couple with loud music until 8pm.
The water issue, yes, you stayed without water for 5 minutes, as I told you, the city shut off the water, and we needed 5 minutes to active the back up system, as simple as that.
Would have been wonderfull for us if you had asked for a cancelation, for sure I will have cancel some nights waiving the fees, as you stayed for 3 nights, by the way, there were a lot if available hotels in the area, as you know.....
I haven't accept the partial refund, as I explained there is not why and, to be honest I have earned it ; )
So, hope you have a wonderful stay in Costa Rica and you get out the stress from you.

Great facilities and management. The only downside in my opinion is the long unpaved road that takes you there.

Property is tucked back, private, safe, and owned by a very sweet family. We had everything we needed and more. Great little place. Highly recommend.
