My wife and I loved our time here! The room was very clean and is a short walk to the beach.

Other than the terrible mattress it was a great place. The mattress forced us to the middle of the bed. It was encased in a plastic cover and the sheet kept slipping off. Since the main purpose of a motel room is to sleep - this was a challenge. I think the owners have remodeled recently - hopefully they will replace the mattress soon.

We would stay here again. The bed was very comfy, everything you needed was there coffee, refrigerator, microwave, TV , easy to get in to room, code was sent and instructions given. Was perfect for the two of us for the night.

Very nice and clean! Recently renovated. Quiet, safe area with a 2 min walk to the beach. Conveniently located near the Cape and well-positioned for exploring all of Hatteras Island. Will definitely stay here again!

Pictures did not represent the true condition of the property. Run down motel. Shows age. Got the impression that at least one of the occupants was a full time resident.

Hey Scott I'm sorry you feel pictures were not accurate. The motel is one of the oldest in the outer banks (1957) and will continue to be remodeled. NOBODY lives on the grounds full time. Don't know why you would write that.Hope to see you again.Olivia

Tower Circle OBX Buxton
Posted 14 Oct 2023 on HotelsTower Circle OBX was convenient for us, close to where family was staying, to places to eat and easy access to the beach. It was bare-bones, but that is not a bad thing. We found the bed comfortable although the pillows were a bit skimpy. The shower and towels were great although it took awhile for hot water to reach the sink. Our coffee pot was not clean but I was fine with washing it. The chairs at the table were terribly uncomfortable as there was absolutely no padding on them. I would suggest some room darkening curtains over the windows as the shades left a gap for folks to peer in and the safety lights that are left on at night lit the room up like daylight. All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying a few nights.

Place is no frills goodness for staying in Buxton and doing whatever you want to do.
