Had a great stay for a budget property!

First, there was a sheet over the thin blanket, so it didn't look like there was a blanket at all. We asked for a blanket and an extra pillow from the front desk, and the person there looked distressed and confused and sent us to the housekeeper. The housekeeper appeared even more distressed at the idea and flat out refused. When we got back to the room, we realized there was a dried booger on a cirner of the sheet. My husband brought the sheet to the feont desk, and the attendant proceeded to scratch the booger off with his ungloved finger, stating that he was trying to figure out what it was.
Second, there are some shady appearing people walking around the premises.
Finally, the place doesn't have basic amenities like a microwave, a coffee maker, or a hair dryer. Not a big deal, but with all of the other problems, it just makes the experience more unpleasant.

Very modern rooms

Every guest checking in ahead of us had keys that didnt work. There were people bringing in loads of kaundry and geoceries obviously staying there for a long haul. There were holes in the screens of the room, curtains that didnt cover the window width, paint chipping from the ceiling in the bathroom from visible water damage. It took over 29 seconds for the lights to come on in the bathroom after the switch was touched. The beds squeaked. The windowsill was filthy with dead bugs and a hefty layer of dust and debris. The lobby stunk of curry stench ( and i like curry). There was a stale smell in the elevator and even a worse smell in the room. You could hear every sound in the hallway. Over all awful.
I didnt expect a ton from a small hotel off the interstate, but I definitely expected more. We decided to check out within 3 minutes in the room. Wasnt ofdered a refund. Wasnt offered an explanation.

went down for breakfast at 7 AM and there was no food left. They did not plan on Replenishing. It was very noisy. Overall, it was not a very good experience.
