We stayed in a one room self managed apartment which is confusing because although on the resort premises it is not managed by the resort, Iit was advertised to have a pool but a few days out we were advised this was not usable and was up for maintenance, on arrival the pool area was locked, looked to be in pristine condition and there was no work being done on it. When queried at reception we were told it would not be open until at least christmas as the roof needed repairing and they needed to consult with owners. Surely this should have been arranged before closing the pool. The resort is in an ideal situation but is in need of upgrading and their website for both resort and self managed units need to reflect this. A little disappointing.

Hi Sharyn,Please allow us to clarify. We advertise as self managed, as the entire Resort is strata titled and only some apartments are managed by the Front Reception, the rest are self-managed. We advertise our apartments with a list of all the services and amenities available, unfortunately in a regional area sometimes issues arise beyond our control which results in some services or amenities being unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience, however the pool was shut down by strata due to structural beams being found to be unsafe and the safety of our guests was put ahead of the use of the facility by Strata and each week it is being assessed by Engineers to see if a temporary fix can be found.It is not intended in any way to be misleading and there is another meeting next week to try to find a fix for the situation.Thanks for understanding.

Lovely apartment. I liked that there was a dishwasher, so no hand-washing dishes on holiday!

Very DUSTY dust bunnies under bed all over the blinds. Did not like that I only found out when I arrived I was on my own no one to greet me no service whatsoever its privately managed! Had to ask neighbours for help! Hotel reception didnt know as its PRIVATE,

Dear Guest,My apologies that there was some dust in the room, I have asked our contract cleaners to detail these areas which due to being in a regional area and on the ocean attract dust very quickly. We do advertise that our privately managed accommodation is self check-in only and this is also mentioned in the 3 emails sent to you prior to arrival. Please advise if you did not receive these so we can check our systems.

Excellent stay

The room was comfortable and clean. Self check-in was really easy. Centrally located and close to shops. A very enjoyable experience.

Room was lovely and clean, quiet and cool. An extra roll of toilet paper and rubbish bag would have been appreciated. Will definitely stay again.
