Beautiful country, lovely hotel.
Posted 3 Sep 2019 on HotelsThe hotel was very clean, the room spacious and comfortable. We slept well in the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was very good, especially the variety of breads. The only downside was it is a little remote, a bonus some would say, but it’s not your usual tourist hotel. The host was charming though we have little German and could not chat with her except through my German speaking daughter who lives nearby. There is a phone number for an English speaking owner who can help with any questions.

Room clean and nice, BUT....no one is there at check in. Sign says call manager to get in. If you are foreign, with no phone service, tough luck! Once we finally got in (had to walk to a business), no internet password and the phone in the room was useless. Blinds are nice but not automatic, and no instructions were left. Nice breakfast, BUT, attendant speaks no English and was rude about it. In the end, I recommend this place if you are Austrian/German, but not if you’re from off the continent.

Thank you so much for taking time and giving us a feedback. For check in there are here, but we are not a 4 or 5 star hotel where you can find 24 hours a receptionist, we are a small and fine 3* pension who offers you a free 24 h Check in. In main times with a personal check in and when nobody is here with an keysafe that you must not wait. Everybody gets a SMS or message through the booking system, when the last employee go out of the hotel. In that message you find the number of the keysafe, the code of it, the instructions for breakfast and WLAN code. That was also the case at your booking. For the blinds I can only mention again, we are a family business hotel and not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Every time you called us, we answered in english. I'm sorry for that, that not every body of us speaks a perfect english.

Accommodation was very clean and staff were friendly. Lovely place & hope to return
