Beautiful old property. Our breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful. The stairs to our room and the entry to the room was quite narrow and steep so it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely hotel in a lovely town!

Lovely property and the staff were so very kind. The lady who checked us at reception was so helpful. I would return just for the staff alone!

Fantastic property stayed here before. All I will say is that the service for breakfast and dinner was really poor - and what I mean is that there seemed to be young staff untrained and no management oversight. So orders were wrong for every table. The staff didn’t understand the menu or wine list. And the breakfast menu as wrong and cold each day. Needs improving.

Only problem we had was ordering porridge at breakfast on first day. No oat milk so had coconut milk instead. When it arrived was tepid at best.
Second morning, no porridge available !

We had a really lovely stay at The Bay Tree. The room was spacious, clean and had a cosy vibe. The breakfast was great and the Christmas themed interiors were beautiful. Staff were friendly and great location. They did oat milk with my breakfast which I was very happy with! Can’t complain at all.
