Location: Great – it's right on the beach, and there's a boat service for dolphin watching right in front of the hotel. Room and Facilities: The room is a good size and simple with the basics, but the cabinet is a bit old. Bedding: The bed is okay, but the blanket is quite thin. Bathroom: There are some rust stains, but they don't affect usability. The bathtub and water heater work well Breakfast: Limited options, but satisfactory Staff: The staff is nice and friendly

We were referred to this location by a friend, it is very old and worn but bed was comfy and the ground crew and staff were fantastic and hard working. You get what you pay for, budget freiendly but no frills.

We stayed one week here. Loved Lovina. The ever happy smiling staff were always friendly and helpful and took time to learn about us, nothing was too much trouble. I mistakenly booked a room with no fridge. I need one to store my medication. The management allowed me access to their private fridge and put a fridge in my room once one came available. To me this was above and beyond good service. The pool is a comfortable temperature. The food from the kitchen is very good. We ordered a lot from the hotel and was never disappointed. Also the food and beverages are very reasonably priced. The hotel is beach front with beautiful views and close vicinity to the main part of town. I will be returning and am a bit concerned that my glowing review will make it too crowded!

Great Value

We stayed in a limited sea-view room on the second floor. In hindsight, I would choose a bungalow. We really liked this hotel for its reasonably priced restaurant and outstanding location right on the beach. It was excellent value. The room was recently refurbished and painted but strangely lacked a TV. Who doesn't at least have a tablet these days? Internet was as good as any hotel I've been to. The room was just the right size too. Other than a brief moment, shower water pressure was good enough and there was hot water throughout our stay. Hopefully, they've addressed the issues mentioned by others and it was definitely not an issue for us. The dolphin tour is good value and definitely should be done which they can arrange, though, the other local tours seemed overpriced. The hotel allows you to charge expenses to your room which I always refuse for budgeting and fraud reasons. The spectacular feast charged to my room, resplendent with copious, ahem, "vodka shooters" worth almost two nights stay, proved the effectiveness of this policy. The hotel relented within a reasonable amount of time and I am sorry that they are out the bill. I hope they require showing a room key to solve this problem in future. Uncomfortable check out aside, I would stay again. The area was less crowded with tourists than other parts of Bali but still touristy. A good area for a quieter beach holiday.

Lovina Beach Resort is in a great location on the beach at Lovina - there is a wall and gate in front of the property beach side making it safe - the beach path runs along the beach either way and within 5-10 walk you have small shops, warungs and eateries - the resort is olde style - lovely gardens - however it is quite run down (as are many after the Covid era) - we paid extra for a bungalow which are at the beach side of the resort and have air con - however they are very basic but adequate - the shower area needed a really good clean - the pool area is quite small with a few loungers and umbrellas - the pool was ok but could do with a 'detail clean' but it was good for a quick dip! The staff a very friendly - the inc breakfast was basic but nice - the other food was good and the prices were good - the restaurant area overlooks the ocean and catches lovely breezes! We came up from Kuta by car and it will take you approx 3.5 hours to do the trip - a good supermarket is 5 mins walk away

The hotel is located within walking distance to Lovina centre. The rooms are tired but functional. The restaurant has limited food and drink options. The grounds around the hotel are lovely, they are well maintained and a feature of the hotel. Being located right on the beach is a major plus. There is free parking at the hotel. The staff are friendly. The water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent which was disappointing.

This propery looks like it hasnt been taken care of. There was no hot water for shower. Sink was leaking. Irs probably due to the pandemic. Staff was super nice and helpful. Dont order the fried rice from the restaurant. It wasnt edible
