The Pines Melaka

"Hotel and room was great at the price point, just unfortunate didn't manage to get any early check-in on the day of arrival. In fact, only got keys to room 15 mins after the standard check-in time. Apart from that, enjoyed the balcony in the room and the large bathtub too. Buffet Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Hotel is also located within walking distance with good food options. Oh, another thing. Love the pool, that actually comes with sea salt rather than the usual chlorine, which does more wonders for hair and skin than the chlorine would."

"Overall a comfortable and clean place. Generous room size, comfy beds (twins). Digital aircond control needs some maintenance, didn't work smoothly. The doors to the toilet and shower cubicles make loud noises when left to close on their own. Breakfast has lots of variety with decent quality. Location is away from town center and tourist attractions."

"We spent four nights at Treasures and it was lovely. Quiet, peaceful, calm and welcoming inside, and 10 mins walk from the old town centre / Jonker St etc. We had a Premier room - very spacious and comfortable. Only thing was that the room is a bit deprived of natural light during the day as overlooking the inner courtyard, but we weren't in there much during the day anyway, and there are lots of nice communal areas to lounge around. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good with Western and Asian options that changed every day. The pool is big and really nice with good views - could do with a few more sun loungers as they go quickly in late afternoon when it's busier with families cooling down after a day of sightseeing."

"Nice clean hotel with good clean king bed and pillows. Down side, it doesn’t have bar fridge to keep cold drinks. Two nice restaurants in the same building and like a foodcourt in front of it. Ample parking spaces but full at late night, staff tried all out to guide and assist to get a space. Recommended for short stay"
