Very friendly and helpful staff. We really appreciated the water purification machine in the room. Rooms are well appointed, quiet and clean. Communal areas of the hotel are nice as well. Decent breakfast.

Stylish and attentive boutique hotel

The hotel was a lovely and comfortable hotel. Stylish and great breakfast. The beds and linen were super comfy and the staff attentive. The turn down service was a nice addition and so were the complimentary treats. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the windows to our room which seemed a bit small. But since we spent most of our days sightseeing anyway, that wasn’t a huge issue. The location was convenient and yet not overly central which was great.

Everything perfect !

Fantastic service , great hospitality, very good breakfast. The staffs took time and efforts to remember our names despite a short stay. Ray was extremely professiona. All the staffs whom I cannot remember their names are all extremely helpful ! Bed was so comfy that I wish I stayed longer. Breakfast was such a joy. The hainan chicken rice was one of the best I eaten. Better than any of the chicken rice shop in jonker street itself.Roti Canai was so good that we had it at every breakfast ! We will be back for more !

Very happy with this hotel. Beautiful, very clean and great service. Walking distance to alot of places, at the same time insulated from all the noise. They have a really nice cocktail bar on the street level. Only small comment about the quality of the breakfast, the items could have been made with a bit more care (baked beans were not heated up, the steamed buns and dumplings were not hot. Other than that it was a pretty good selection.

The Liu Men is a wonderful historic hotel. My room was huge and amazing. The breakfast buffet was incredible. It is right next to the street market as well.

Brilliant on all counts

From the reserved parking outside the front door (on a very busy narrow street) in order to offload luggage, to the cool interior, to the warm reception everything was perfect. (not something I say often, if at all). We had the last room available and I would come back in a heartbeat. I could not fault anything. Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom (love the tiles) good size shower, delightful breakfast spread, very friendly staff, great location, beautifully decorated.

So happy we stayed here!

We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel Melaka. The deco is so…nice. Love the Hang Tuah room with the high ceiling and we were so lucky to be given the room with the garden deck. The staffs at the reception, Lulu and Ray are lovely and so are the other staffs too eg breakfast area etc. The beddings and pillows are very comfortable. We love the Loccitane toiletries and thank you for the complimentary snacks and souvenir. We would love to stay again.

This property is located at the end of Jonker walk which makes it very convenient if you are driving. You will not be stuck in the road closure of Jonker Walker during weekends and it is easy to access parking during peak hours. At the same time it is a walking distance to a lot of major attractions such as Jonker Walk, river walk, Stadhuys, heritage and a lot of Nyonya cuisines. Love the complimentary snacks and drinks which are replenished daily. Room was sound proof, noise from street level was not noticeable. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. Check out the Mamee Jonker walk and check whether the Mamee noodle factory is allowing visitors.
