The property itself is a nice experience. However, the rooms are so tiny for being as overpriced as they are. No closet, no fridge. Lots of wasted space in the multiple lobby areas that could have been incorporated into the rooms. The shower leaked all over the floor through the poorly sealed glass door. Definitely not worth the price.

Cool restoration of a historic building. Bedding and towels were nicely laundered. Quiet.
Restaurant, bar and cafe all closed and only open on weekends. No housekeeping. In room coffee station poorly stocked (one coffee pod during entire stay). No hand soap in bathroom. I expect more for $250 per night.

Lovely and interesting place to stay. We loved our room and the decor of the hotel. I definitely would recommend this one but just things to be aware of are-The air con was loud but this seems the norm for USA. The only reason we didn’t score this Hotel 10/10 was for the day staff at the counter that were reluctant to be helpful. The lovely lady on during check in and evening, was really helpful and friendly. We knew from reviews that there was no refrigerator in the rooms. I am allergic to the powdered creamer so was able to pour milk from the complimentary jug in the lobby to take to my room ( used the ice bucket to keep it cold) The next day the lady on the counter told me there was no milk available , even when I had to explain it was there the day before. She did finally get another member of the staff to go to the kitchen for me. So this is all a bit inconsistent. The other thing to note, The on site restaurant is only open Wednesday to Saturday if you’re lucky. Food isn’t worth the price and I would recommend JT’s just down Elmwood ave, amazing food and better value, also open 7 days for dinner.

Dried coffee stains on the guest desktop, toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror and adjacentwall, light's burned out/not working, body wash dispenser in the shower was empty...
Continental Breakfast was mediocre to say the least for a $200/per night room.
Limited parking - more guests than spots available.
