Excellent hotel in great city centre location close to local transport, dining, shopping and sight seeing activities.

The location was great, which was most important for me. From desk was helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, and my toilet would often run (drip, drip, drip). I was there off season, and price was reasonable. I would stay there again if back in Budapest.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in the past year (I've stayed in at least 20 hotels for about 60 nights in that time frame). It took 25 minutes to check in. The front desk staff were unfriendly. The room had the wrong bed configuration. The room was extremely hot and, even though it is advertised as having AC, it only has AC in the summer. The window barely opened. The carpets in the hall and in the room had stains all over. I cannot understand how this hotel has such high ratings. As a point of reference, on this trip I stayed in a total of 4 hotels and I gave the other 3 positive reviews.

Unfortunately, check-in may take longer time due to some obligatory procedures which are set by the law and cannot be overwritten by the hotel. This is for example scanning the documents and completing the form. Without that procedure, hotel is unable to check-in any guests as it is supervised by authorities (with automated systems). You requested a twin room, and your room were equipped with two separated beds, as requested. We are surprised about your negative comment in regards to the unfriendly staff, as we got many-many positive reviews highlighting their friendliness and professionalism. We would be appreciated, if you could share more exactly with us your opinion. Exactly, AC is available only during Summer season and usually hotels are working with same system. Windows may be open partially for security purposes, however our Front Desk Team is happy to assist you, if complete opening is required (after filling in the required form). Unfortunately, we did not receive such request on the spot during your stay. Again, we are terribly sorry for any inconveniences caused during your stay but we do hope, we can welcome you back in our hotel in the future!Kind regards,Dániel H.Operations ManagerK+K Hotel Opera

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We were given 2 twin rooms although booking 2 double rooms. The staff were rude and unhelpful and when we continued to ask them to ammend this.

Hotel is in a very quiet street. Sebastian in the Front Desk is wonderful!!!
