very old building, room has smell. two out of five rooms we booked had dirty water back out from drain holes in bath room.
Breakfast is so so. bath room too small,
The main reason we picked close to Hero Square,

4 night stay in Budapest
Posted 11 Sep 2023 on HotelsWe stayed in Hotel Benczur for 4 nights in Budapest. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a good location. It is close to the city park which has attractions such as the Szechenyi baths, Budapest zoo, Vajdahunyad castle. It is also a 10 min walk from the subway which can take you further into the main city in about 20 minutes. The hotel itself is old and dated, but the rooms were relatively clean. The air conditioning was a bit unreliable which was sometimes uncomfortable. The breakfast was good and overall the value of the hotel was decent for the price.

Good property, room was clean bathroom had everything that was needed . Towels could have been larger,limited menu but food was good. Breakfast had a good selection .
I would recommend down loading local taxi app as better prices & simple to use
