Top choice for combining lodging and excursions
Posted 19 Feb 2022 on HotelsMy stay at Fish Tobago exceeded my needs. This was my first time in Tobago. Unfortunately I came for a funeral, so it wasn’t the typical trip. I picked Fish Tobago due to cost and relative location to family. Based on reading the description and activities nearby, I anticipated that the area would adjacent to or surrounded by the natural environment. Instead the neighborhood was residential. The upside of being residential is that it’s a good base to walk to food and shops. You can also walk for sea/beach attractions, the main Bucco port and the Sunday School party.
The ability to go on tours/excursions complimentary for being guest is an terrific value add. I only had time to go on one excursion, but if a guest caught a couple tours, the independent value of the tours significantly offsets the cost of lodging. If you are planning on tours anyway, look to coordinate the availability of Fish Tobago tours and stay in a Fish Tobago property. You can’t beat the combined value.
Overall, it was a great value for what I needed and I’m very satisfied with my stay. Thanks to Brandon and the staff

Very simple place if you need somewhere to just rest your things and explore. The host is extremely courteous

(1) You booked a basic room.
(2) when you checked in you ask for a self contain apartment. The difference is only five dollars
