Very comfortable family hotel in the woods!
Posted 27 Sep 2019 on HotelsThis is the 3rd time we have stayed here and each time have found it to be clean and comfortable with large, spacious rooms. Unfortunately, each time it has rained, so we couldn't really enjoy the nice hiking trails adjoining the property. But, each time we have enjoyed the fantastic sauna/wellness area and the tasty breakfasts. JUFA's are very family oriented hotels and there were two school groups there the night we stayed and the kids were fairly rowdy when we arrived, but were quiet from 9pm to 8am.....yay! So, we had a great night's sleep! No restaurants in the immediate area and evening food choices are limited, but we were told you could book a buffet dinner there in advance (whatever the school kids had for dinner smelled fantastic).

Surprising little gem in the woods near Bruck
Posted 16 Apr 2018 on HotelsWhat a pleasant surprise this hotel was! We almost didn't stay because it lools like a dormitory in the photos.....don't let the photos fool you! Our room #26 is as pictured, but much more comfortable than it appears and there is a loft with 2 twin beds for the kids. The wi-fi worked great. The breakfast was very tasty with some Styrian specialties included and the breakfast room is very welcoming with nice views of the surrounding woods. One of the best features is their wellness oasis (free for hotel guests to use), with about 6 different saunas/steam/herb rooms and nice relaxation areas with tea to sip on. We stayed here 4 days ago because it was the only hotel available for that night on Hotels.com's website. We are back here tonight because we had such a fantastic experience the 1st time and so far, it's a repeat performance!!

Pros: nice location. good facilities, excellent playground indoor / outdoor for children, in house bowling haul !!!
Location: good hop to gratz and vinna. located in a groove with forest and running river, great for morning walk
wonderful hotel, most recommended. great value for money.
