We have stayed at The Yarrow many times and returned to celebrate our 2yr anniversary. Had a fabulous stay. Great breakfast, friendly staff, lovely lunches and a super room. There was a previous review of room 109 a few days ago., please don't listen to it. We stayed in room 109 and it was lovely, nothing wrong at all. Thank you The Yarrow for another super stay. We'll be back!

Great place to stay, staff very attentive rooms clean and quiet the breakfast was excellent, the only downside was we had to go out for dinner as we were unaware, until we booked in that the restaurant was not open as they had a function, ?

We arrived after a long transatlantic journey and were given a handicapped room, which we neither needed nor requested. The room, quite rightly, is tailored to wheelchair mobility needs. The shower is a roll in area that needs to be squeegeed after each use. The tiny sink is at waist level and very appropriate for a person in a wheelchair. The next morning we requested to be moved to a regular room. They were not able to accommodate that at our Expedia paid rate. The room had a comfortable bed and a view of the parking lot. Breakfast was good and the staff were cordial We stayed three nights. It would have been a completely pleasant stay and an appropriate value had our room been a normal one. As it was we felt overcharged.

Thank you for your feedback Dave, I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us.Having checked this reservation for you, I can see this is the room type that you booked via Expedia therefore the hotel has allocated you the room that was booked by yourself. We would obviously allocate an alternate room if we have had the availability however there would be a price differential payable by the guest.

Lovely breakfast, good choice of hot & cold. Friendly staff. Room nice, clean & i slept well, although my husband didnt. Good location short walk to the sea front. My only issue was being given a room that could be connecting. Which meant i could hear the people in the room next door, when they used the hairdryer in the morning.

This was my old college 40 years ago so it was a trip down memory lane and lovely to see it put to good use. Great large room had everything you want except some draw space & maybe some coat hooks plenty of room to fit them in. Breakfast was ok but would be nice to have more of a waiting service. Shame the bar closed at 10pm when you just come back from a night out & the coffee machine is turned off for cleaning well before 10pm, these are all minor things & I would return again.

Overall a lovely stay. The only negative was the set-up of the bathroom - the shower was open and we found that the water accumulated to the point of flooding the whole bathroom floor, and carpeting outside of the bathroom ( there was a floor squeegee to push the water towards the drain), the sink was very, very small and there was nowhere to put toiletries.
