Comfortable place for a weekend- great foreshore walks, love the sauna, watch your toes on the small step into the bathroom - ouch!

Generally property is in a nice area. It is a well maintained older property.
On arrival we found the fridge/freezer was not cooling down. Within an hour management provided a smaller fridge as a temporary fix and a new fridge freezer was fitted the next day - impressive response.
Otherwise a well equipped kitchen.
The king sized bed was very comfortable and bedroom quiet so slept well.
The bathroom could do with an upgrade. It had a bath/shower which can be tricky for older people to get in and out of. The shower door frame has a sharp metal edge that you need to avoid when getting in/out.
Nice hot and cold pools on Level One.
Good cafes and take-outs nearby.
Nice coastal walks.
Secure underground car park. On bus route.

Great beachside property with all the comforts of home us space to spread out. Lovely to have a balcony with ocean views.

It was a very pleasant stay at the Scarborough Beach Resort. The managers were ultra pleasant and helpful. We had a very restful stay for 2 nights while we were looking at houses to buy in the areas of Redcliffe, Scarborough, Rothwell and Newport. We'll come back to the Resort again.
