The history of the hotel. Recommend a second mirror in the room to allow more than 1 person to get ready when the room accommodates more than 2 people. Need to provide wash clothes for showering (not just a makeup rag). The Keurig and Expresso machines were out of water. A bigger trash can with extra trash bags.
The beds were comfortable and the environment was peaceful.

Thank you for your review and suggestions. We are working on adding additional mirrors to the few rooms that have less than 2. While we understand that other hotels offer massive amounts of towels we just do not have the laundry capacity to offer every type of towel to every guest. If you'd like an extra washcloth we are happy to provide them upon request. II apologize for the issues with the water, I remember chatting with you over coffee on your first morning. Unfortunately I was called away to a family health emergency and no one runs your business like you do. (I am the owner, the maid, the maintenance person, front desk, and PR) Our support person was thrown into a situation that was not familiar. It was a learning experience for us all. Thank you for choosing The Bodie Hotel. We hope to see you again soon.

The hotel may need a water heater with higher capacity and provide heating during cold nights in May.

Originally built in Bodie in 1880 and moved here in 1920 as the gold played out, makes this a wonderful historical hotel; especially for those who are visiting the Bodie Historical State Park, the nations most famous ghost town.
