Nice hotel with decent rooms and good restaurant. Its a family run hotel so they care about their customers. Would recommend if staying in or around Brechin.

A little confusing over price of breakfast as listed as 8.95 and also states that in guest information in room but on the day was charged over 12.00. Not good.

Posted 27 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe hotel is looking very tidy and looks to have recently been redecorated. We had a warm friendly welcome from the family. My room was clean and well appointed, with a nice hot shower. Big shout out to the chef as our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place and I have stayed here before. The reason for not giving it 5 stars across the board is the mattress in my room was old and bumpy. If the bed would have been more comfortable I would have given 5 stars on every level.

All carpets and furniture very badly stained, place looks unloved and reception was covered by a 10 year old, would not stay again.
