Perfect location near downtown Brattleboro. Convenient, easy walk to shops, restaurants, museums.
Pat and Conrad were warm, welcoming hosts. Conrad's homemade bread was delicious. I'm returning in October for his homemade English muffins and for some leaf peeping in the Green Mountains and the White Mountains just across the river.
My room was very comfortable, with a comfy loveseat tucked under the corner windows for a perfect reading nook and what was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

Marvelous house with comfortable rooms, that included a wide variety of books and games in the public rooms. Clean and lovely in all ways. Most flavorful breakfast I have eaten in a long time.

A wonderful B&B that could use a thorough cleaning. Cute, full of books, great owners and their two cats!

Hi Kate - thanks for the review. (We hope you meant "tidying". We are very devoted to having a clean space for people. Sorry about the surplus of books- Conrad is overhauling our 10 year old Little Free Library, so they are a bit everywhere. And we haven't had even a spare minute to do all of the spring chores like the windows/garden yet. We wish we could have had a chat to see where we should have done better, but breakfast ends at 10 due to Pat working at the library, so had to leave before you came downstairs. Glad you liked the cats, us and books!

Excellent place to stay!
Posted 4 Jul 2023 on HotelsThis is an awesome B&B! Pat and Conrad are great hosts and they live on site so they are available if you need anything. The room was clean and very spacious. There was comfortable seating in addition to the bed. The room had it's own Keurig machine and it's own AC/heat system. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Several food and drink options to consider. Also, Conrad bakes his own bread. I had the maple oat bread which was so good. This was my first time in Brattleboro. I will definitely stay at the One Cat next time I am there!

We loved our stay! Very welcoming and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come back to stay here again!
