A great older hotel with a lot of unique character. Whether it's because its pet friendly and needed more vacuuming or there was debris on the roof outside our window both of us ended up with allergies during a very short stay. There was also something gross looking going on in the bathroom tub. We came in late so there wasn't really any staff to tell about it, and presumably these were exceptions. The place is clearly well cared for and unique, sitting on top of a theater and situated in a great walkable downtown.

Staff was very friendly. Easy check in and check out. We found the parking lot just around the corner without issue. Wonderful location to explore Brattleboro - you can't get any more central to downtown than this. Very cool historic building. Our room was super clean. Would definitely stay again.

Jacki waited for us to arrive after we had sat in 8 hours of eclipse traffic. She was so kind and helped us so much! I can’t say enough great things about her and the hotel. Thank you.

Quaint shopping, dinning options in walking distance. This is a historic building. That being said, expect loud doors and noisy plumbing. We got very specific instructions at check in. We were told where to park with our hotel pass in car window, if that was filled to go to the lot next to it. We did. Returned to parking tickets 2 tickets.

Our parking lot is always free to our guests, so I assume that you weren't able to park there. I do wish you would have brought them to us before leaving. I have spoken with the front desk to be very clear as to where our parking lot is so this won't happen to anyone in the future. We do hope that you return to stay with us again.

Loved The Latchis! If you are looking for a traditional, hotel-chain experience this might not be your cup of tea, but it is a truly special place. First non-profit hotel I've ever stayed in and I plan on going back. Historical building in the heart of downtown Brattleboro with a vintage movie theatre playing first-run films and great pub with live music in the building. Surprisingly spacious, well-appointed with super-friendly staff. Record player and vinyl in the room. Fun and funky! Great restaurants and cute antique shops right out the front door. The local co-op grocery store is just steps away and the parking was easy and totally convenient. Loved the scenic views of snow covered mountains, even in April. Looking forward to visiting again. So much to do and see.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Quirky deco hotel in the historic downtown walkable to shops and restaurants.
