What a mess!
Posted 29 Aug 2019 on HotelsNo idea if this flat was nice or not as I couldn't gain access. The contact details supplied by Hotels.com were incorrect and I couldn't check in on arrival. Hotels.com refused to help me find a usable contact or alternative accommodation leaving me in Bradford with no where to stay after an appalling day stuck in traffic. I won't be using Hotels.com for anything ever again and would highly recommend anyone thinking of using their service going elsewhere!

Not quite as advertised
Posted 15 Sep 2017 on HotelsThe owner is very nice and friendly but we had to wait for over 25 minutes to be let in. Rooms are standard student flats rather than the advertised deluxe apartment, and the bed we had was a small double with a single duvet for 2 people. Location is very close to the centre. Would gave been a better stay if it was advertised as what it actually is.

central apartment but not set up to be a hotel
Posted 20 Mar 2017
Pros: good location and price
Cons: bigger bed, full size duvet, clean fridge, shower drainage, clear key collection instructions
Location: The immediate area is quite run down but a couple of minutes walk away is the city park with plenty of bars and restaurants.
I booked this apartment because of the location and price. It's not a hotel so there was no one there to let us in on arrival, we had to phone and wait for someone to come over with a key, this could have been made clear on the booking confirmation. There was a narrow double bed with only a single duvet. The fridge was full of out of date smelly food. The shower itself was great but drained very slowly so I had to keep switching it off to avoid a bathroom flood. The continental breakfast supplied was a selection of cereals, breakfast bars, pans au chocolate and UHT milk. There was plenty of choice of tea, coffee, etc in the small kitchenette which was perfect for making hot drinks. There is a 24 hour petrol station next door where you can buy fresh milk. If you just want a cheap bed for the night this could be the place for you. It's close to the city centre and the train stations and there are lots of places to eat and drink close by. Parking on Quebec St is limited to 1 hour between 8am and 6pm. There is Pay & Display parking further along Thornton St (£2.50 all day) or Southgate NCP over the road (£12.50 for 24 hours).
