Amazing country side feel, cosy, clean & value for money.
The Briars Inn restaurant within the property premises is fantastic…..not to be missed, quite a happening place.
Will be back soon !!

The property was well appointed and within walking distance of a superb restaurant (Briars Inn).

Our reservation was mixed up & handed over to another customer but we stepped in to check-in in time & within few minutes our keys was handed over! Humanly error for sure which was sorted immediately but otherwise we loved our stay at Briars country lodge .

Stayed in the executive suite, $710 for two nights. As soon as you opened the front door you were hit with a really bad moldy smell. Tried to open the windows but they all had been painted shut so unable to open them. I went to reception and was told no maintenance people were available, so it was like it or lump it as all the other rooms were booked. The exhaust fan in the toilet worked when it felt like it. The one in the main bathroom did very little to take any steam out and you could not open the windows in either bathroom.
The internet was very good and easy to connect to.
It is next to Briars Country Inn, and this was a fabulous place to eat, great food but noisy unless you sat in one of the smaller rooms behind the bar.

Good Morning Les,Thank you for your review and we will investigate your concerns.Unfortunately after 3.30pm on a Saturday there were no maintenance staff on site, though when housekeeping staff did come on Sunday to investigate there was a DO NOT DISTURB sign placed on the door indicating that the guest did not want to be disturbed by Housekeeping and no answer to their knock.The guest if unsatisfied upon check in always has the right to check out and find alternative accommodation if they find fault with their accommodation, as apparently you returned to reception 30-40 minutes after check in mentioning the issues in your review. But by choosing to stay the night and not find alternative accommodation and then once again if still unsatisfactory choosing to not check out by 10.30 am the next day and putting the DO NOT DISTURB sign out indicating to staff that you did not want any disturbance to your room indicates that the issues raised were not that great an inconvenience if you did not want staff to enter.Kind regardsJo-Anne
