Great step in shower, comfortable king size bed with good bedding.
Fridge fan and hairdryer in room with two waters.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Property was beyond the expectations and the price .Staff was so friendly. Kids enjoyed the say.will for sure book again for the next visit.

Second time iv stayed at this hotel. Nothing much has changed from what i can see, excellent staff and lovely rooms.
Although a few years ago, dont remember having to pay for the car park. Thought 15 pound was a bit too much.
Would definitely use hotel again!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, some areas have been refurbished but a very long way to go before it’s done.

We are sorry to see that you did not fully enjoy your stay with us Sanjoy. The hotel is over 100 years old and we have an ongoing investment and refurbishment programme in place. All of our bedrooms, function rooms and public areas have been completed along with considerable improvements to accessibility both inside and outside the building. We also replaced all of our balconies and decorated the outside of the front of the hotel and re-fitted our kitchens whilst closed during lockdown. Still to come is the addition of air conditioning, bathroom refurbishments plus lots of additional remedial works that guests don't see but are nevertheless essential. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

The hotel is looking a little tired and dated, but the room was comfortable and clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly, I will definitely stay here again.

As a traditional hotel we do have an ongoing investment and refurbishment in place and although most of the main areas of the hotel have been completed, there are several projects coming up including refurbishing all bathrooms and installing air conditioning.
