I paid for 1adult and 1 child with breakfast 96£. In this money were not included 25£ extra for parking or internet in the room minimum 7£/ per 24hours. This hotel doesn’t specify on Expedia that are extras to pay for internet service access in the room. I contacted the customer service last night to be told that is nothing to do with Expedia and I need to discuss with the hotel, which is very disrespectful because I booked the room through Expedia not direct with the hotel. Internet is available just in communal areas. The breakfast was very limited for a 4 star hotel. The location of the room was very far , with lots of stairs and corridors and no clear signs. Elevators out of service as well. The reception has a limited staff (just one person) and of course log waiting time for checking in. I won’t stay here against and I won’t recommend . The only good thing about this hotel is the walking distance to the beach.

It’s a very nice hotel but the beds and especially the mattresses need refreshing (one can feel the springs) the breakfast is very poor with very little choice. If you’re not into full English, you’re doomed. Only one choice of bakery (mini Pain au Chocolat) and two juices. (Orange and Apple). It’s disappointing, finally although parking on site is advertised, it’s full.

Property welcoming and well managed despite ongoing reparations. Our fault we missed out on tight schedule for breakfast we had already paid for. We have to contact the third party we had booked this hotel with to get our refund of £25 for missed breakfast but already paid for. WWE were able to take advantage of extra 5 hours in the city due to car parking valeted service. We’ll book again but travel in by train next time.

We chose this hotel on the basis, we were led to believe we had the use of facilities, such as a swimming pool, steam room etc. non of which were available during our stay. Also, the showers had no pressure, meaning we had to spend more time in it, than need be. There were areas in the room and ablutions that hadn’t been cleaned for some time before made available to us, and to make things worse, we found a notice in our room, informing us that there would be no room service during our stay e.g. the beds would not be made, the bins would not be emptied nor the soaps replenished. Had this been explained on your web page, we would not have purchased the holiday package. Based on our experience, we should be entitled to compensation or failing that, report you under the trade description act.

I booked this at 2:51pm on Saturday while we was driving to visit an unwell family member we was driving over 200 miles away. My father was driving so I booked via by Expedia account which I always do as you can see from previous bookings it’s always been my account but paying with my fathers bank card.we arrived at the hotel close to 11pm after having a very stressful and sad afternoon/evening visiting a dying member of the family. it was pouring with rain outside we rushed inside the hotel went to reception to check in and the man was very rude as I didn’t have any ID on me he wanted me to go into my banking app for a statement which nationwide don’t have access to your statements on their app he didn’t understand this, it was getting very frustrating explaining I booked via my name but paid via my fathers card. I have stayed at thousands of hotels across the Uk and the world that I have never had this much stress on a checkin. This was something we really didn’t need after the day we had all had. In the end the man took my dads diving license as ID. I have received an email this morning so 3 days after the stay to tell me we need ID to get into the hotel! Not much good to us now is it! we had rooms either side to each other beds had hairs on the sheets towels in the bathroom had hairs on. The bathroom wasn’t very clean as there were hairs and dirty marks on the tiles. The shower head holder in my room fell off the wall. Overall terrible customer service!

Last two stays at this place i have been on ground floor and floor boards make so much noise in and arround the room. People passing by at night is enough to wake me up , so noisy. The hotel needs alot of work done
