Beautiful, well appointed property. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin and it was perfect myself and my adult daughter. One night a nephew stayed on the pull out couch. We spent most of our time on the porch just hanging out talking. I hiked a couple of trails. The place is gorgeous! Would definitely stay there again.

After checking in we had gone to pearl street mall and then spent the rest of the day at the chautauqua. Getting ready for bed we realized that our sofa bed was not a sofa bed. We had booked a room for 4 adults and we had a room with 2 adults and a 3rd could sleep on the small couch. I went to the office and they admitted they placed me in the wrong cottage and all they could do was give me an air mattress for the 4th adult. This was not what i booked or paid for. I was not offered any compensation for their mistake. My only option was to take the matress or not. I was not happy for my first experience with this organization. Would have to really think about if i will ever return.

Hi Roland, sorry for the misstep with the sofa sleeper. We have since removed this information from our booking channels as we are eliminating sofa sleepers in favor of air mattresses. We actually get many more complaints regarding the sofa sleepers than the air mattresses as they are notorious for having thin flat mattresses so they can fold up in the couch.

Loved the location right at mountain trail and the wonderful porch that I enjoyed my coffee on in the morning.

Very cool and different. History. Amazing view. Great little cottage with a screen porch. Steps to hiking trails.

Loved this cute property- I didn’t realize it’s a historical marker & used to be a teachers dormitory. The rooms are the perfect size for a single traveler- the staff was so lovely & friendly/helpful. Only slight issue is that the room walls are paper thin so you can hear the person in room next door.

Hi Mona, thanks for the kind words and review. You must have stayed in our Columbine lodge which is a mini 15 room hotel with shared walls and corridors. If you decide to stay with us again in the future most all of our cottages are stand-alone structures which helps with noise or privacy.
