Very nice home, owners were very friendly. Wish we had known it was a home not a hotel prior to arriving. We were uncomfortable with the traditions of the house, not really sure what was acceptable or not.

First off, the name is a little mis-leading. It isn't located near Logan Airport. It's a good 20 minutes away and longer with normal heavy traffic. Also, it isn't a hotel, but rather a large private home with a number of bedrooms. Our TV did not work, the ceiling light was burned out, the smoke detector had been disconnected and the only air conditioner was a tower fan in the middle of the bedroom. The owner prefers you pay in cash and at $145 per night, you can do better elsewhere.

Room in a home

I read that it was a guesthouse. I assumed that meant a small house away from the main house. Instead it was a room off the hallway from main home. One has to walk through the living room and up stairs. The family was eating 3xs as I entered or exited. I felt awkward for disturbing them. I have a broken kneecap and getting up the stairs was difficult. Especially with my luggage. I would have NEVER stayed there had I known what the setup was. But it was in a nice residential area where there are no hotels. The room was large, clean and comfortable.

This was not a hotel. All you get is a room with an uncomfortable bed and a small washroom with only a small shower no tub. The is unit is beside the window. This unit is very noise. So it is hard to sleep. We were planning a 4 day stay, but only stayed 2 nights. Expedia should list this as an air B and B. Without the breakfast.

It was really difficult to find, ended up knocking on a neighbor’s door by accident which was scary. Once there, the house, room, and host were fine.

Very pretty views. Unfortunately, the bathroom was dirty, faucets loose, tangled cord on blinds. Many products left to share in shower - but comfortable. Owner very friendly - but could have used a good cleaning in kitchen and bathrooms.

I didn’t realize I booked a stay at someone’s house. The house was beautiful and clean. The host was great! He was very kind and friendly.

Very clean private house and a friendly and ready to help owner. A nice view from the windows. However, this is a family house and you are staying with a family of the owner living here. It was ok for us but it may make someone not feeling comfortable. The only minus for us was smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway (but not in the bedroom, though) which we don’t bear well. All in all, we liked the inn.
