Marriott should decide if this is a timeshare property OR a hotel open to the public. We had requested an early check-in due to an early flight arrival and were continuously told throughout the day that the “owners took preference” - we finally got checked in at 3:00! We also had requested a higher floor with the original reservation and had to settle for the 2nd floor - again because owners were requesting all of the higher floors! It is.a beautiful & historic building but we were made to feel inferior because we were not part of their timeshare program. We would most likely not stay here again.

Amazing property, they could make some upgrades and make this a 5 star easily! Shower head in the bath was poor and water pressure issues.
Staff at reception let the place down.
They couldn’t find my booking after a few attempts and check out lady was unprofessional- she was boasting about it being her last day! Maybe just as well!

If you are in Boston this is the only place you want to stay. We can't say enough great things about this Hotel! This was our 3rd year in row to attend the marathon and this is hands down our best experience. What a great place, great staff and beautiful hotel!

This is an awesome place! The only thing I want to complain about is their AC unit. It sometimes blew cold air, sometimes hot air. And it is quite noisy at night. I have to turn it off later the night. Other than that, everything is perfect.
