Overall, the property was good. The front desk worker, I didn't catch her name sadly, was super friendly and attentive. She always had a smile and made us feel welcome. The hotel is right next to two different restaurants, Outback and a local seafood place. I left things in the back of my truck and didn't feel worried they'd be stolen. My only real issue with the hotel was the smell of the room. When we first walked in, a pungent smell hit us immediately. It was strange in that it smelled like "stale bleach" as my wife put it. It eventually went away (or we became nose blind to the smell), but I'd suggest they look into changing their cleaning products/routine.

Only hiccup was check in was at 3pm and I thought it was 2pm. Got there and a lady was like “no, we were full last night. You can’t check in until maybe 2:45pm.” She did her job but I didn’t care for her demeanor. When I came back at 3pm, there was a different lady there and she was SO pleasant!She definitely saved my thoughts on the hotel. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. No complaints and I would definitely stay again! It’s about 9 min from Brookshire arena, which is were our show was. Very convenient!
