"A little outdated but ultimately large rooms and spacious hotel. All day food options and good breakfast variety. The pool is a great feature with jungle behind. Staff helped with taxi’s and luggage storage. Only upgrade would be better sun loungers - many lacked pads and were broken / dirty. Wood rotten on the loungers. And a tv with some internet capability. "

"Rooms never serviced. Bring your own shower gel and shampoo. Thin towels and only two per room. Cold breakfast from the buffet. Could do with having a drinks and snacks cabinet. Lumited cold drinks when resturant shut. Nothing around there shop wise. Bring supplies. On the plus the people at the desk were good. And walking distance to Orang-Utan, Sun Bear and RDC. Or 4 ringets in taxi, so cheap."

"You get what you pay for. This was a budget hotel for us backpacking around Malaysia. It had what we needed. The air con remote didn’t work but the kind start replaced it for us. We got a room clean aswell after the first night. The staff are lovely. Only downside was cockroaches coming up the toilet drain but not sure how this could be prevented maybe a stopper at the top of the drain? We got rid of them with room bug spray."

"It was only a brief stopover before a river cruise so didn't expect much and I guess it met expectations. Area around the hotel was a little dirty and there wasn't much to walk to. Hotel room was basic (fine) and the sheets and floor were clean. Bathroom wasn't as clean. Had a TV but it came with a 2 prong plug ??? Which makes no sense when its a 3 prong country! Breakfast very limited for western palate - no fruit or breaded things apart from toast. Overall as expected - not sure it's 3 star though "
