Great place to stay, wonderful interior, breakfast great quality, bath tub comfy for a hotel.,Only complaint is that mattresses are a little old and in need of replacement

When checking in, they gave me a keycard that didn’t work. Went back to reception to have it fixed, went back to the room to find out it’s occupied. Now I’m going back to the reception a 2nd time to get another room. This time the keycard worked and the room was not occupied. Adding on top of this, I was already tired from a day of traveling and moving around. I had to lug my baggage around a couple of times at the hotel just to get a room. The hallways to your room is dark until you walk through and it lights up. If you get scared easy by creepy vibes, I would avoid this place. Parking is not guaranteed since they host events so the parking area can be filled up but will open up by evening time. I want to like this place but I just can’t.

Unfortunately you were her on our annual charity event that we host for Alzheimers Society and the parking was busy.The reactive lighting is just our way of saving energy!We are sorry that you do't love our beautiful Manor!Joanna

We enjoyed the cocktail and dinning. The bed was very comfortable and the room was light and airy.

Property was perfect for our trip to surrounding area, lovely hotel however, needs a bit of TLC. The room was nice but needed updating, with a lick of paint in the bathroom on window ledges, and furnishings were a bit dated, and in need of replacement. The staff seemed a bit disorganised with a conference and charity fundraiser on going, waited 15 mins to check in, tea and coffee supplies in room were scant, but not essential. Breakfast was good, the coffee machine was being used by everyone in conference and breakfast so took eternity for coffee, then water and milk, cups ran out. Overall nice stay and would stay again. 👍

We like to cook to order but perhaps we should have gone buffet !Jo

This lovely old manor has so many original features. The decoration is a little tired but does not detract from the lovely hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were all fantastic. The breakfast, though very tasty, was luke warm.

The manager Jason was very rude, terrible customer service. Rang the day before checking in to ensure what I read online was correct. Don't google checking in time, it says 2pm but check in is 3pm. Was promised a room with a balcony, which I didn't get. The first thing I noticed when going into the room was a dirty throw blanket with stains on it at the foot of the bed. As you could imagine this instantly gave me dirty feeling in the room. The telephone to call reception didn't even work so I had to use my own Mobile phone to call them. I understand it's a "vintage" style hotel, but it definitely needs renovating. It has the smallest TV in the room so far away from the bed that it was pointless having it. Also the remote barely worked. Needless to say, I did not stay the night. Upon checking out one of the staff members was actually quite nice and didn't charge for the bottle of water I ordered to the room. (Never been to a hotel that charged for still water except for this place) Would I return? NO! I would have had better service and cleanliness in a B&B or even a travelodge!
