Simplicity of the place is what you are paying. No fancy kitchen and rest room but at least they are always avaiilable and being cheched by staff for cleanliness. We were just 2 in the kubo hotel with fan and it was very comfortable. It was cold at night and needed to turn off the fan. Just make sure you got everything you need like food, water, alcoholic beverages and what not since they sell nothing in kubhotel and the stores close ealry outside or along the road. We paid only 1.2k and we owned the beach. the sand is grainy and cream-like color, you can see big waves a little far from the shore and with that, you can enjoy swimming closer to the beach and capture stunning sunset photos. In the morning you will be given a warm good morning greeting and smile from the staff and get your delicious daing na bangus and 3 in 1 coffee for breakfast that you can bring and eat again in balcony of your kubo. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay, no loud music, no mosquitoes, i loved staying in the free hammocks on the palm trees sine coz i can hear the waves and feel the fresh air. It is cheap, comfortble, clean just dont expect more from what you are paying. They are living by their marketing line “Comfort need not be expensive.” Enjoy your stay.
