Excellent value for the $. Great location between Vaux-le-Vicomte and Fountainbleu. Delicious breakfast. Owner is a delight. Parking on-site. Only thing that would have made our stay better was a fan for air movement.

Posted 18 May 2019 on HotelsJean Pierre was so helpful and even had a guidebook for the local area in English that he had to go all the way to Paris to purchase! His wife made us wonderful French Toast for breakfast and there were many other items to choose from to start your day. The Inn is quite conveniently located for a visit to Vaux le Vicomte or Fountainebleau.

Due to travel issues we were late and found it difficult to get in touch with the owner as both our phones had gone flat, perhaps a bell outside the gate would be of assistance, however, we should have contacted to say we would be late. Bedroom was clean and tidy, though pillows not the best. Breakfast was good with a homely atmosphere.

Charming small family hotel -- WARNING!!!
Posted 2 Jun 2018The most important thing about this hotel is that you need to have a phone to call the owner. There is no bell at the gate, and no way of alerting the owner to your arrival except by phone!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem with our stay was that there was no hot water because of a storm (this seems to be a regional problem), so we left a day early. Otherwise, the breakfast was the usual petit dejeuner. But the location is very cute.

Great site as hub for touring Loire chateaux
Posted 24 May 2017 on HotelsComfortable and somewhat secluded hidden jewel. Staff very friendly, Terrific breakfast. Close to wonderful restaurant L'Etape Gourmand and the chateau with it vast and special gardens.

Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: More information in English about what to do in the surrounding area. Cards and perhaps menus from nearby restaurants would be nice.
Location: Fontainbleau Castle was closed on Tues. but we could have gotten into the gardens free if we had known.
Good location, breakfast very nice, room had e everything we needed. Host was helpful with suggestions for what to see and do and restaurant suggestions.
